Online Application

How long does the online application process take?

The process should take approximately 15 mins to complete.

What documents do I need to have with me while I complete the application?
  • Job Letter (not more than 3 months old; applicant must be working more than 6 months at current job)
  • Two most recent consecutive pay slips
  • Two valid forms of Photo Identification (Barbados ID, Driver's License or Passport)
  • Proof of Address (e.g. utility bill not more than 3 months old)
  • Self-employed: Business Registration + 3–6 months of financial statements
  • Non-residents: Proof of residence (Passport with Work and Reside stamps)
How will I know if my application was approved?

Emails will be sent throughout the process including: Welcome Email, Follow-Up Email (for incomplete applications), Application Submitted confirmation, Approval or Declined notification. A member of our Customer Service Team will contact you with next steps after approval.

Can I visit the Payce Digital office to complete the application?

Absolutely! One of our Customer Service Representatives will be delighted to assist you. All applications are completed electronically.

Contactless Card

What is a contactless Payce Digital Card?

Your Payce Digital Card carries contactless payment technology which allows you to make payments at contactless enabled checkout terminals by simply waving or tapping your Card.

How do I make payments to my Payce Digital Card?

Payments can be made at One + Haggatt Hall (8:00am–4:30pm), Broad Street (8:30am–5:00pm), or SurePay Barbados. Online options include CIBC Caribbean, Scotiabank Barbados, RBC Royal Bank, Barbados Public Workers' Co-Optima, SurePay Online, FirstCitizens Bank, and Republic Bank Barbados. Payments via bill payment partners may take 1–2 days to process.

How secure is a contactless payment?

Very secure! Payments made with your contactless Payce Digital Card are protected with the same technology as Chip & PIN. Each contactless transaction generates a one-time usage code which protects your payment information.

PIN Selection

What is a PIN?
A PIN is a four (4) digit Personal Identification Number uniquely linked to your Payce Digital Card, required for payments at Chip & PIN terminals and ATM withdrawals.
How do I change my PIN?

Log into your Payce Digital Online account at www.paycedigital.com, select "Preferences", then "Change PIN" under "Card Online PIN", enter your chosen four digits and select "Update". The change is enforced immediately.

Creditor Life Insurance

Who is eligible for Creditor Life Insurance?
All Payce Digital Account holders between the age of 18 and 65 are automatically registered under the Creditor Life Plan. No application needed.
How much does Creditor Life Insurance cost?

The premium rate is $0.25 per $100 per month of the outstanding loan balance. For example, if your balance is $1,550, a premium of $3.88 will be charged. Coverage terminates at age 70.

Young Professionals Card

What is the Payce Digital Young Professional Card?

A globally accepted card product specifically designed for young and emerging professionals, undergraduate or graduate students, or skilled trade professionals between the ages of 18 and 35.

  • Earning a minimum of $250 weekly
  • Between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Recent Job Letter and two most recent pay slips
  • Valid Photo Identification
  • Proof of Address
What are the benefits?

Attractive credit limit (up to $5,000), low annual fee ($30), low interest rate (20% APR), low minimum repayment (5%), mobile account access, and access to free Credit Seminars.

What is the Payce Digital Student Smart Card?

A globally accepted card product designed for students between the ages of 18 and 25 with student status. Maximum credit limit of $500.

  • Earning a minimum of $150 weekly
  • Between the ages of 18 and 25
  • Registered with a secondary or tertiary institution
  • Students with no income are eligible with a Guarantor

An application designed for users to conveniently perform everyday activities on their Payce Digital Account.

How do I gain access to the Payce Digital Mobile App?
Download the App from either Google Play or the Apple App Store and follow the registration process. For assistance, contact our Customer Service Team at 539-4444.

Yes, you have the ability to lock your account via the Payce Digital Mobile App.
How secure is the Payce Digital Mobile App?
The app incorporates the highest digital standards and encryptions to keep your personal data safe. Be sure to create your personal Passcode to protect your account if your device is lost or stolen.
Will I have access to my statements through the App?
Yes! You will have access to your last six (6) months Statements and these will be available for you to email and view in pdf.
